Convenience (MTL Novel) Chapter 58

C58

The maids went out, but Bianca did not rest. It was because there was someone who entered the room immediately after passing the maids.

It was Sauveur who came to meet Bianca.

"Ma'am, you must go down now."

-It is understood.

Blanche nodded. By handing over the designs to the maids, Bianca had done everything she had to do in the castle, and now it was truly time to go. Yvonne followed Bianca with her luggage and Sauveur immediately followed in Bianca's footsteps.

Sauveur asked curiously.

"Come to think of it, the maids who just left were very excited, what did you tell them?"

-Was nothing. They seem to be happy because they won't have to see me for a while.

 "...are you kidding me?"

'You are very insightful, Sir Sauveur.

There was no change in his indifferent expression. Seeing Bianca's expression, Sauveur shivered as he gently caressed her arms.

“It was a funny joke. Also, it seemed like she was serious when she said that.

If it was someone else, I wouldn't know, but it was even scarier because it was Bianca who made the self-deprecating joke. It was hard to determine how much of a joke it was, so it wasn't easy to keep up, and even when she found out that it was a joke, she couldn't figure out how to respond properly.

She is a misleading lady. Sauveur clucked his tongue inwardly. If it had been a while, it would have been a situation where he would immediately shut his mouth and read the mood, but Sauveur didn't give up and spoke to Bianca skillfully again.

"Then why didn't you ask why I came here instead of Sir Gaspard?"

"I guess you had nothing to do."

"He's joking again."

Sauveur shrugged. This kind of joke was easy to accept. He preferred when a pointed arrow flew at him. But the problem is that this time it wasn't a joke, it was Bianca's sincerity.

Sauveur didn't really care if it was a joke or not. Because that was not the point. With a pro-cause smile, Sauveur told Bianca flatteringly.

“Actually, I want to get the lady's permission for something.

-What thing?

"I heard from the butler that the lady was not satisfied with the Count's clothes...

-That's how it is.

Blanche nodded. It was one of the few things she was proud of lately.

But why mention that all of a sudden?

Bianca bowed her head, not knowing why Sauveur was interested in it. Sauveur continued to speak in a low voice, as if he were gently persuading Bianca not to offend her.

"Then you will use those garments only in the territory?"

-Nope. I'm really planning to take this opportunity to buy clothes for her in the capital.

"So, will you throw away those clothes?"

"Well, Vincent will take care of the arrangement."

At that moment, Sauveur, who had been calm until now, suddenly changed his attitude, raising his hand and jumping.

 -Then I! Me!

 -What?

Bianca stepped back, surprised by Sauveur's frivolous appearance. A burly knight, a head larger than her, raised his hand and jumped, looking intimidating.

When Bianca, a little startled, looked at Sauveur with annoyance, Sauveur, who noticed her behavior, coughed and carefully lowered his raised hand. He then asked cautiously, looking at Bianca's countenance.

"Can I take it?"

-… I don't mind. You must get the permission of the Count or the butler...

“The Earl doesn't care about such things, and the butler is under his control, so I came to ask his permission. After all, Robert and I are the only ones similar in size to the earl. Gaspard is too big and Vincent too skinny. I came here to get it before Robert did.

Sauveur explained why he has good reason to take Zachary's 'discarded' clothes.

Bianca thought for a moment who Robert was. It wasn't long before she realized that he was Zachary's other commander, who was particularly hostile to her. A smile crossed Bianca's lips. It was because if the Robert Sauveur was talking about was the one she knew, he would never come to her to request her clothes.

Bianca had no intention of allowing Zachary to continue using that, so if she leaves it aside, it will only rot. Sauveur wanted this too, so it seemed like a good fit for him. Bianca nodded happily.

“Well, if you want, you can take it.

-Yessss!

Sauveur clenched his fists and left the room. Seeing him brimming with joy, he seemed to forget that Bianca felt threatened by her appearance.

A moment later, Sauveur looked dejectedly at Bianca, tail wagging as silently as a dog that's been beaten in the butt. It was because he was afraid that Bianca would cancel her word.

Bianca laughed at his dog-like appearance. Should she say that he is cheeky or should she say that he is not pretentious? It was the first time she had been so reluctant to say anything.

She didn't hate him, but she didn't want to talk anymore. To be honest, the more she talked to Sauveur, the more tired she felt. Without a word, she ran past Sauveur and down to the first floor.

Unable to read what Bianca was thinking, Sauveur followed her steps, trembling with anxiety.

"Ma'am, are you really giving it to me?"

 "Haven't I already?"

“You can't change your words.

"Why would you do something so troublesome?" Tch, there's Sir Gaspard, so you can go back.

Bianca, who was annoyed by Sauveur's talk, waved her hand. It was just as Bianca said. Gaspard found them and began to approach them.

“The carriage is just over there, ma'am.

-It is understood.

Bianca walked lightly to where Gasper led her. Sauveur did not follow Bianca's words to return.

As the boisterous Sauveur hovered around Bianca, Yvonne and Gaspar, relatively reluctant, were forced to back off.

Gaspard looked at Yvonne for a moment. In her hand was a large sack. Approaching Yvonne, he said he.

—Give it to me.

“……? This is my baggage.

—Give it to me.

“I can hold it by myself.

—Give it to me.

Yvonne's eyebrows narrowed at the sight of Gaspard repeating the same words. The bag he was carrying was bulky but not heavy. She was able to take it on her own, but she couldn't understand why she kept repeating the same thing.

Unaccustomed to shock, Bianca's head throbbed because it seemed Sauveur's moans weren't enough at her side, and Yvonne and Gaspard were also singing behind them. She didn't feel bad, but she was tired.

Just as Bianca sighed softly, a sudden gust of wind blew. Messing up her clothes and hair. She couldn't help it. Bianca used the wind as an excuse to call Yvonne.

—Yvonne. Give it to Sir Gaspard and come fix my cloak. It has just been overturned by the wind.

"Oh yes, madam!"

It's funny how they were arguing up until now, but as soon as Bianca spoke, Yvonne handed her load to Gaspard like she was throwing it and ran towards Bianca. Gaspard took Yvonne's luggage and followed her silently. Her face, which always looked blunt, remained the same.

But before Yvonne got close to Bianca, there was someone who moved first. It was Sauveur, noisily hovering around Bianca. As soon as Bianca called out to Yvonne, Sauveur casually approached Bianca.

“It wasn't knocked over, just a little wrinkled.

Sauveur's delicate fingertips touched the hood of Bianca's coat.

As if unfamiliar with the soft texture of the fabric, his hand gently brushed it. On the outside, she seemed like she was being nice.

Bianca, unable to understand why Sauveur was acting so coquettishly, received his touch nonchalantly.

Bianca's face subtly hardened. Not only was Bianca embarrassed, but Yvonne's face hardened as well.

Either he doesn't care, or he just doesn't realize it. Despite the embarrassment of the two women, Sauveur deftly continued to speak.

“Kyaa… the texture of the cloth is different. As expected from mrs.

-… Thanks for your help. But next time, ask permission first.

Bianca took a half step away from Sauveur and tugged at the hem of her coat. Sauveur just helped her, but to Bianca it seemed sudden because she wasn't that used to being around a man.

Before her return she slept with Zachary, and although it ended in catastrophe, she was also in a relationship. However, he was not familiar with it just because he "had done it before", and because he had lived in the monastery for a long time, he was even further from it.

Not thinking that Bianca would be reluctant to receive even this kind of help, Sauveur tilted his head and asked.

 "What permission?"

"Permission to ask if you can help."

“Do I have to ask all the noble ladies like this?

 -That's how it is.

As if teaching a child to write, Bianca patiently continued to reply.

She doesn't think Sauveur hates her, so he wouldn't have done it to intimidate her. She probably doesn't know anything and just doesn't know how to treat a lady. Come to think of it, where would a low-level gentleman like Sauveur meet a lady? If you don't know something, you can teach it.

It wasn't often, but she couldn't think coldly of Sauveur in this kind of face-to-face conversation. Bianca was patient and educated Sauveur well.

Just as Bianca was educating Sauveur well, a sharp look crossed her cheek as if someone was watching her.

Bianca turned her head in the direction she thought her gaze should be, and her eyes met her opponent's.
