Convenience (MTL Novel) Chapter 30

The Wedding Business Novel
Marriange Of Convenience Novel
C30

Bianca, who didn't know he cared so much, let out a small sigh of relief. She didn't know if she really thought Bianca was more valuable than Vincent, but she was very grateful that she would raise her position even nominally.

If you think about it, the future Zachary finally came to find a successor. After Zachary's death, everyone looked at Bianca like a thorn in her eyes, so she forgot how valuable she was for a moment. Theoretically, even if she knew about it, she would subconsciously devalue her own worth.

To that extent, Zachary's actions were very helpful. She felt much more at ease when she knew for certain of his willingness to build a positive relationship with him. Perhaps this wouldn't have happened if she hadn't endured his embarrassment and gotten closer to Zachary. Bianca patted her chest as she told herself that her efforts were not in vain.

-Don't worry. Nothing will happen while you're away. I've been doing well so far

"Actually, I…

This was the second time Zachary hesitated and muttered. It was then that Bianca realized that the speculation that Zachary was trying to take care of her was wrong and that he still hadn't brought up the subject at hand. What the hell are you going to say? Bianca's complexion darkened with fear.

“I'm thinking of taking you to the capital next year too….

-What?

Bianca asked in surprise. She couldn't understand what she had heard. Bianca just blinked and stared at him, then Zachary added hastily, as if she was apologetic.

"Unless you don't want to."

-It's not that I do not want to…

Bianca shook her head. Her face was filled with confusion. Still, going to the capital was something she had never thought of before. Much less with Zachary.

Bianca had never been to the capital. When she was Countess of Arno, she always lived alone in Arno Castle, and after Zachary's death and expulsion from Arno Castle, she wandered the kingdom, but never had the opportunity to go to the capital. Because she had no acquaintances living in the capital.

Bianca's maternal family, the Blanchefort family, were close associates of Prince Gautier's faction, the current crown prince, as was Zachary, as political union was sought through marriage. Although Prince Gautier died in the war, an Orthodox heir remained, Prince Gautier's son Albert.

Although Prince Albert was young, he displayed the qualities of a king, so they pushed Prince Albert just as they had pushed Prince Gautier.

However, the war continued, and Bianca lost her brother, her father, and her husband, Zachary. They were Bianca's family, but at the same time they were central to Prince Albert. As his limbs died one by one, Prince Albert was isolated. Prince Albert was too young and weak to be alone.

In the end, Prince Jacob, Prince Gautier's younger brother and Prince Albert's uncle, overthrew Albert and ascended the throne, and Prince Albert was exiled and all remaining members of Prince Albert's family were expelled. From the capital. Since her family was close to Prince Albert, Bianca was unable to go to the capital controlled by Prince Jacob.

Until then, Bianca had no interest in such political matters. After being kicked out, it was only when she wandered around looking for people she could trust at least a little bit that she realized how the world was going and where she was. Realizing that there was no one to help her except Blanchefort and Arno, Bianca had to donate all of her belongings to a monastery before she could escape the winds of the world.

Anyway, for Bianca, the capital is just an unknown place. After returning home, she only thought of how she could remain attached to Castle Arno for the rest of her life and she had no intention of going anywhere else. Even if it's a trip. Bianca continued to stutter, showing her embarrassment.

"I'm a bit perplexed." I never thought I'd get such an offer... leave the castle...

“I did not lock you in this castle.

-I know. Single…

Bianca bit her lower lip. She was so surprised that the end of her words trembled. Not that she's exaggerating like that. Bianca clutched at her skirt, worried about what would happen if Zachary questioned her overreaction.

Fortunately, it seems to have been a reaction you'd see from a 16-year-old girl who's been locked up in a castle all her life. It didn't seem that strange, Zachary said, as if to appease Bianca.

“There will be many amazing things. Because you like to decorate your room. There will be many people and artisans, so you can choose the tapestry of the person you want and you can match the clothes with new patterns… It's okay to buy new furniture too.

As she listened silently, the things Zachary had arranged for her were generous. It was too good a condition to appease Bianca for her to go to the capital. Puzzled, Bianca asked out of sheer curiosity.

“…Why do you want to take me with you?

-Do not you want to go?

-It's not that.

Bianca shook her head. Even if Zachary didn't offer any other conditions, if he just asked her if he wanted to go to the capital without questioning what his intentions were, her answer would be clear.

Zachary's vassals said: "The lady will not agree to go to the capital." And they were not wrong.

Bianca obviously hated going out, and if it had been her in the past, she would have shook her head at Zachary's suggestion of going to the capital. Although she avoided many responsibilities and duties as the lord's wife, she tried to keep the virtue of being the lord's wife, "stay in the territory, never leave the territory and die in the territory", that was the minimum duty of hers.

What attracted him to Fernand was perhaps the feeling of frustration that had built up while he was in a cage. A longing for freedom that he expressed without knowing it. As a bard, he sang to Bianca about his experiences while freely roaming the world, and Bianca fell in love with him. Like in a dream that she would be free to be with him.

But it was a false illusion. Expectations scattered like shards of broken glass. With Zachary's betrayal, Bianca learned the coldness and cruelty of cold, sharp reality instead of fantasy, and her slender body was helplessly swept up in the storm of time.

If this had not been his second life, his world would have ended in a corner of the room in the Arno Castle.

But she came back and decided not to live like this anymore. As such, she could not miss the opportunity to see a world that she had never seen before her return.

Furthermore, even if she were to give birth to an heir to the Arno family in the future, since Zachary and his family supported Prince Gautier, it would be nearly impossible to get a glimpse of the capital after Prince Jacob came to power. If she doesn't go to the capital this time, she believes that she won't be able to go to the capital for the rest of her life.

Bianca's parted lips trembled slightly. She swallowed hard and, with a little more courage, she expressed her desire firmly.

-I wanna go.

Bianca's bright green eyes, full of anticipation, sparkled like a lawn sparkling in the summer sun. Bianca's face twitched as the candles that lit the room flickered, but her eyes stared at Zachary without wavering. For the first time, her hopeful eyes were straight and dazzling like the stars that shine in the night sky.

Zachary tilted his head to avoid Bianca's gaze. And he murmured in a soft, muffled voice: "Then I'll take care of preparing everything." He looked obviously puzzled.
